FAQ's

Most frequent questions and answers

Accreditation means the action or process of officially recognising someone as having a particular status or being qualified to perform a particular activity. Therefore, having all of our courses accredited will allow you to be recognised within the beauty industry as being qualified to carry out a specific treatment and become insured to carry them out on clients.

You will receive your certificate on successful completion of your course. If your course does not require any case studies to be carried out, you will be certificated at the end of your course. If your course requires case studies to be carried out within your own time, your certificate will be posted to you upon successful completion of all case studies.

If your tutor feels that by the end of your course you need a little more practice before certification, then we will arrange with you another day to come into the academy for more practice so we can ensure you are carrying out your treatment to the highest standard.

We require you to wear your beauty uniform if you have one. If you do not have a beauty uniform you will need to wear black, comfortable, smart clothing (no jeans). We also require you to wear flat shoes with a closed in toe and heel for health and safety purposes.

If you are going to be late due to circumstances out of your control, we require you to call the academy to let us know . Because there is a lot to be covered within a short course and all information given is essential, we may not allow you to come into the class if you are over 20 minutes late. Please ensure that you leave plenty of time to get to your course to avoid delay or non-attendance.

If you are ill or an emergency arises on the day of your course, we require you to call the academy before your course starts at the earliest convenience. If there is a fair reason for non-attendance, we will aim to put you on the next course running for the same subject.
